Saint Pat Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Hi folks. I haven't been on here for a few years. I am now in the Philippines having left Ireland and got married to my Filipino wife last Feb 2019. We are trying to decide where we should live. Ireland is too expensive and we were thinking of Spain or staying in Philippines. I love it here. However Health Insurance is an issue for me if I live here. My Irish private health insurance is now void as I am out of Ireland for more than 180 days in a year. Last July 2018 I had 2 stents inserted to help with heart issues and I have tried many health insurers and once I declare this they run a mile. Is there any health insurance company in Philippines, besides PhilHealth, that cover foreigners with pre existing conditions? Any advice greatly appreciated. Huggybearman Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 (edited) Hi Pat I believe Pacific Blue Cross Premier cover pre-existing condition for ages 60 and above. Also Insular Life might well do as well. Worth checking them out. Ken Edited June 7, 2019 by Huggybearman To add Insular Life also.
TimL Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 I have a Cigna Global that covers worldwide, except the US. You can add a rider for the US if you want though.
