I wonder what the return Airfare from Glasgow to London is now (It is about the same distance and flying time to Manila from Dumaguete) I am almost 100% sure the Cost is probably double + So Whilst I am here, I (just at this time) I am as Happy as that proverbial Pig

It's about 5400 pesos currently

My plan was to switch to just using American dollars for all of my budgeting and expenses, but my wife is still spending pesos (even though we're both in the USA) and she's earning US dollars at her job.  I guess that it's gonna take more time than I thought for her to realize where she is right now.

Don't know, did want to spend too much time searching, £45 was mentioned but the prices change by the hour. Often there are usually various taxes to add which will take the shine off. UK airfares tend to be very competitive. When we were looking for our Philippines tickets we were seeing Cathey Pacific for about £420 return but didn't fit our dates, waiting another 8 weeks and we paid £530 return.
