During WWII, German sub crews saved Allied sailors, even though the Germans attacked their ships.

"...After surfacing and picking up survivors, who were accommodated on the foredeck, U-156 headed on the surface under Red Cross banners to rendezvous with Vichy French ships and transfer the survivors. En route, the U-boat was spotted by a B-24 Liberator bomber of the US Army Air Forces. The aircrew, having reported the U-boat's location, intentions, and the presence of survivors, were then ordered to attack the sub. The B-24 killed dozens of Laconia's survivors with bombs and strafing attacks, forcing U-156 to cast their remaining survivors into the sea and crash dive to avoid being destroyed.

Rescue operations were continued by other vessels. Another U-boat, U-506, was also attacked by US aircraft and forced to dive. A total of 1,113 survivors were rescued..."

In all the stories I have seen about this, I saw nothing mentioned about the potential environmental damage, or, exactly what the damage was.

The headline says,,,

Oil Tankers attacked in Gulf of Oman, U.S. Navy says

but the missing word is ''apparent'' how quickly blame ismade.

Here in Europe i have just seen a report on RT cable tv

that commented on how the story is being circulated around the word

without any concrete facts, it seems someone is attempting to use

this story to drum up public support for what ?

You can read this,,,

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-14/fake-news-does-more-real-journalism-real-journalism

more of the story is here, youtube also has more stories

https://www.rt.com/news/461887-iran-video-blame-attack/

the reason for my post is that a story must be fair and not just one sided.

For American expats this might interest you.
