About 6 months ago he bought (leased) one of the residential properties here and in addition to gutting the 2 unit building, he built a really long retaining wall against the hill and is putting in a bunch of carports for his cars. I'm not sure how many, but more than 10, I think.
graham59 Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 I snapped this nice one that lives in our town. I believe there is a local VW 'specialist not far away. A friend had an old VW Camper van, where he lived in Bicol. Marvellous vehicle, and with its light(ish) weight, and engine over the back wheels, great for muddy province roads. .

You were about as close as you could get. Here are pics of my 07 Auto Coupe. I didn't really want an Auto but when I was looking in Germany this one came up as a good deal so I went for it. These are the pics I took for my "For Sale" ad in Germany, and I literally sold it the day before I flew out of Germany for good. https://goo.gl/photos/qYZ4rXmz9WHVHwQR6 (I probably posted some of this years ago here on the forum, so forgive me if some old timers have seen it before) So I sold my 07 Velocity Yellow Corvette in Germany and when I got back to the U.S. in late 2010, I started shopping around for another used Corvette. I was living in Kentucky. My preferred color for 2008-2009 model year would have been Atomic Orange, a beautiful orange metallic, but I couldn't find one with everything I liked. I ended up finding the almost perfect car, but in California! 2008 Black Z51 with 2 tone leather seats. Road trip! I bought it sight unseen but the owner lived about 5 miles from my sis and BIL, so BIL inspected it to make sure it was as promised. I sent the money to sis, and the guy delivered it to their driveway. It had a cover so it sat there covered for about a month until I was able to fly out for a week of vacation. I took about 4-5 days to drive back to Kentucky, and took route 66 for quite a ways. I planned to take a bit longer, but after about 3 days I was getting bored and tired, so I made a beeline for home! Here are some pictures I took before I sold it in May 2012, just before moving here. I babied this one and you could eat off of the engine. I was able to sell it for slightly more than I paid for it. 3
Popular Post graham59 Posted July 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 15, 2019 What a gorgeous Vette, OMW. I love American 'muscle cars... always have done. Nearest I could afford in the UK were the V8 TVRs. I've had three of the 'Wedge' models so far. All getting on for 300bhp, in a light weight car. First pic is my Red 390SE . Then, my Green 400SE, arriving at the drag meeting, accompanied by my half-Filipino son, followed by my 'Gunmetal Grey' 390SE (Only 103 390SEs were produced and around 245 400SEs) 3

Heeb Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 Waxing my 1973 911S at NAS Miramar, CA in 1995 shortly before selling it for 6k to a couple of guys from L.A. who said they would ship it to Belgium to sell it there. A few years ago I'm on shift and someone is watching a car auction show and the same car with more miles goes for over 200k, apparently those year models became really popular recently. I only sold it because I was headed to Guam and didn't want to bring it only to watch it rust. 2 3

Looks just like my 1968 minus the pipes. That was a great car 1
