Popular Post Marvin Boggs Posted September 23, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 23, 2019 Not Pinoy but no longer Kano. How to know when you are turning Kanoy: -Your arms and face are now darker than hers -You prefer sleeping with a fan instead of the AC -You start asking or answering simple questions in the local dialect without thinking -You can no longer correlate prices in Dollars, just in Pesos -You can slip right into your Market Slippers without looking down at your toes (chinillas / etc. whatever you call them) -You save cast-off things that you might need later, rather than throwing them away -When 80kph seems fast

As for 80kph, I haven't hit that speed since I arrived here six years ago. Hit 70 a year ago when driving on a nice road in the northern end of Negros. Felt like I was getting ready to break the sound barrier. 1

Popular Post virginprune Posted September 24, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 24, 2019 One thing strikes a chord with me here.recently during an all day brownout we had filled a bin with water with dipper for showers etc. I find that I now prefer this method than using our conventional shower. Does this mean I'm embracing pinoyism? 2
