Otherwise the tea stains her nice china. 1
stevewool Posted December 3, 2019 Author Posted December 3, 2019 Dave, I always put the milk in first but I know a few who thinks that’s wrong no matter what.
graham59 Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 I put mine in last. My mother said only 'common' people put it in first. 1

Gary D Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 The reason the milk goes in first is so the hot tea doesn't crack you fine china. Personally not been brung up proper when making the tea in a mug with a teabag I put the water in first. Can't stand to see that teabag wallowing in milky water. Yuch that is so common. Brown betty teapot is the ONLY way to go
graham59 Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 Well obviously putting cold milk in first is going to make boiling the water pretty pointless , isn't it, when using a teabag.
jimeve Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 Tea bag first> boiling water>Sugar to taste> finally milk
stevewool Posted December 4, 2019 Author Posted December 4, 2019 We all have our own take on how to make the best cup of tea, tea bag in the cup add the milk not to much add the boiling water then stir until the required colour then remove the teabag, it’s that simple . Who leaves there teabag in
