I sure wish I could put it to the test but I’ve been married for almost 30 years, you single guys are so lucky. I guess I had my day being stationed here as a young man in the 80s but back then I took it for granted.

My wife points out girls she thinks I may have not seen.  But I have to be careful... she loves pointing out ladyboys... she thinks it is hysterical.  I am like Rodney Dangerfield - no respect, I tell ya.

I admit to having been curious at times whether its the white skin and 'money' (such as it is), or what we men may call 'genuine attraction.  I'm not sure t'he two concepts are separable in the Filipina mind.  At least knowing my wife, she values stability, wisdom, gentleness, and her man putting her in her place if she needs it.  There is definitely a father figure element involved in her attraction to me.  That said, most people think I'm in my early 40s, and I stay fairly fit, so I'd like to think there is at least some animal attraction involved on her part.  If there are some saggy parts, she seems to view it more as a sign of success....which is odd, but something I have experienced before in 'poverty' cultures.  There seems to be a lingering idea that she had been very dissatisfied in various ways with the Filipino men she knew before we met.  There is also the 'whiteness', which is just somehow superior in her mind...as if it may rub off somehow, or at least our kids will be whiter.  Its a very strange concept to me, but i'm learning to accept it.  

As far as other women, I do try to make a point to tell her often how beautiful I think she is.  Usually if she points out some other girl, I honestly didn't even notice.

'Yellow' doesn't do too bad either.  Japanese and Koreans can be just as popular just as well, depending on the girl of course.

Many Filipina say that the most attractive babies are half "American" and  half Filipino.  American being the term for basically any caucasian.

I think you make a very good point Jack about getting too young a flipina partner and us more mature guys... and I would add a "material girl" type... will they stick around when we are too old to look after ourselves......maybe they will... IF your wealthy enough so she can employ a nurse to do the "dirty" work while she still goes out with her social circle! 

I hope the gals we have chosen will still look after us right to end
