No problem, Jim. It is one of the more expensive ones at just under US$100/year. To me it is well worth it for piece of mind. I Googled reviews of free and paid VPNs and ExpressVPN always was at or near number one. I find it is easy to use, works great so far (one day only) and I can choose which server(s) I want among many all over the world. However USA and here will be the only ones I should need. I like the added security this offers over just using Smart (Stupid!) ISP here in Philippines. I should have done this years ago...

So far after one week I'm happy with ExpressVPN, I tried some other VPN service when i first got here and it was a joke so it turned me off on using a VPN but now I have found the light, I have it on both PC's and my phone, it works in the background and I haven't had a disconnect yet.

how much is the paid Express VPN? If you don't mind me asking.

They have a banner here on the forum for 3 months free.

I tried a month and liked it, so I signed up for a year for $99.99.  You might find a better deal.  It has worked for everything so far including my Amazon Prime, which Pure VPN could never get right.  Another thing I like about Express is that they have a lot of helpful info on setting it up on different devices.  I'm planning on setting it up on a router so that I can use it on my TV, etc.

I have a Avast VPN, and can't get online with it.

Are you in the Phills currently. I haven't had any problems with it accept for the occasional disconnection.

A couple years ago I had the same, wouldn't connect or would take forever. Sometimes changing server helped. Finally called support and after checking firewall, etc they said I probably had old vpn connections in network connections. Sure enough there were a couple old tap connections from previous installs. Disabled and removed them and all was fine.

I tried Opera once. It's ok. I just prefer Chrome cuz I'm used to it. I use Firefox for games. Better zoom options.
