Dave Hounddriver Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 When voluntary self-isolation is not followed in Kentucky . . . Quote (CNN)A Kentucky novel coronavirus patient checked himself out of the hospital against medical advice. So to prevent him from spreading the virus, officials are surrounding his house to keep him there. The 53-year-old man in Nelson County refused to quarantine himself after testing positive for Covid-19, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said. Nelson County officials "forced an isolation" on the man, one of the first 20 confirmed Covid-19 cases in the state.

Quote More than 75% had high blood pressure, about 35% had diabetes and a third suffered from heart disease. High Blood Pressure? It raises my blood pressure to think they could ever justify it that way.
Reboot Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 (edited) I have a friend over there where the outbreak started. His mother collapsed. He took her to the hospital. They turned them away. They don't have enough people/resources do deal with this right now. Plus I read that Germany screwed them. The Italians ordered a bunch of supplies, face masks, etc, and PAID for them, and the Germans just seized it at the border for themselves.
