A nice cool shower while holding on to some bare electric wires may cure that unstimulated feeling!:shock_40_anim_gif:

Thanks for the suggestion, Intrepid. I hope you are not insulted if I demure from it, however?:shades:

I will just defer to stimulation at home....ahem...

No deposit here yet. I feel decidedly unstimulated.

I think the IRS looked at your house build topic and decided to use the money somewhere else. :tiphat:

JGF... that is hardly encouraging!

It hurts me to know that it might have gone already to AK though...

Ugh... there goes the rest of my daily Tanduay ration... bottoms up!:shooter:

If I get yours by mistake..I will send it to you minus 20 percent. That's the cost of disrespecting me.

When we filed our taxes for 2018 (we haven't filed 2019 yet), we owed some money, so I provided our bank information for the IRS to direct DEBIT it from our our account...which they quite happily did.

We all know they (supposedly) will use the direct DEPOSIT info from your tax forms to put the stimulus check in your bank account, but I had never actually seen in writing anywhere that they would use the direct DEBIT info from your tax forms. I certainly assumed they would, but from what I read yesterday that is not the case.

So I'm kinda stuck for now. When either me or my wife log in to the IRS Get My Payment site and enter my info, it comes back with the infamous "Payment Status Not Available" page, and there's no option to input any bank info. Oh well.

Read on the internet (did a search) and the article stated if you get a check, more than likely it won't be until September 2020.  The House is looking at approving a bill for two more stimulus checks in the coming months, Senate and President both agree.  We will wait and see.

Yeah, I did, but with no tax owing for the past several years, I have never registered a bank account with IRS. So presumably the payout will show up as direct deposit same as the Social Security payments - so "they" say.

Got some interesting, possible bad news if you are getting the Stimulus by paper check. Seems the US Postal service has stopped delivery to 72 countries! I've been trying to see/find the list of countries to see if the Philippines is on the list! See https://finance.yahoo.com/news/usps-halting-international-services-72-153354970.html

So if you haven't gotten your Stimulus direct deposit yet and you are getting Soc Sec direct deposit, there is only 1 more week before paper checks go out. At least if they use your SSA 1099 for the deposit information. If you have been trying to find out when and where your Stimulus money is and have used the IRS portal GET MY PAYMENT and you get thru, you will know.

Now as far as the IRS portal is concerned, there are a couple bugs I have found. If you are a ZERO filer meaning you don't pay anything and don't get a refund- the portal fails with error 109. Many thousands of people in that count. Problem #2, if you get this error when you put in your social sec #, DOB, address and get " Does not match our records....etc" Either something in the address is not correct or as I suspect they have not processed your 1040 that they are comparing to. This problem many people have. The latest info on that are some people are starting to see "Your payment will be by check sent April 24th. Problem #3  Your Stimulus payment is unavailable- meaning the portal extremely busy and try again latter. Or IRS hasn't processed your 1040. I keep getting the second problem. I've been trying the last 5 days and I suspect my efile 1040 has not been processed. I filed late March. It was accepted, but it does not mean it was processed.

Still waiting...?!!!  :Caught:
