Searching for a friend

I’m looking fir a friend of mine who married a filipina girl in the late 70s. He and family in 1981 lived at bogo mile post 106 on Cebu island  his name is Richard enguell commonly called boof. He had an ice works there and used to deliver to the local fishing community. Any help would be valuable appreciated. He was originally from south aust. Joined the navy and then worked fir Texas Instruments   Hope some one can help

How old was he then?  40 years later, he must be quite old or deceased now.
