Same if you travel to different countries on vacation, you need to know the law of each country. Including when my baranguy has diffent rules for different areas and they change without notice? They were all issued with long sticks/homemade batons two days ago, I was very much of a WTF is this? Luckily after some 'official' idiot made the news by beating a sidewalk vendor with a bucket of fish repeatedly for some 'non-compliance' issue in Manila all the sticks were all taken back off the local guys. Well, you can try to keep up with local government websites and Facebook pages. Google alerts, news sites etc. Nothing is perfect in these times, but in general getting back to the topic it was well known that wearing a mask in public in Manila was part of the ECQ https://www.cnnphilippines.com/news/2020/4/30/Philippines-ECQ-GCQ-lockdown-quarantine-guidelines-COVID-19.html

Ah, my old friend and fav SML. At $32 - $38 USD per 24, prohibitively expensive on this side of the world. At least for me - and a long drive to an asian store in Tampa to boot. It's a little early here but Cheers, JGF! And same to all previously-deprived and thirsty expats!

I think 45.50 per can Cheers

And the 'official' websites are rarely updated and have contradictory information at best. But when you are the only one on the street a face mask clearly isn't required, especially if you are standing on your property.

Are you suggesting that it is okay to violate the law if you happen to be the only one on the street? Any other laws that are okay to violate if they clearly are not required?
