Where have you obtained information about what you are required to have to get married here?

Ps I have just joined this Forum

I have no idea of what a FIN is. What you need is a certificate of no marriage or equivalent in the UK to say you are free to marry. I will move this to your marriage question topic.

All the info you need is online. You are coming here to the Philippines to get married so you will need to be here at least 3 weeks prior as for a start the marriage license you need will take 10 days before you can use it plus if the girl is under 25 then more procedures.

Normally, your embassy or something like Births, deaths and marriages or similar in the UK will issue your Certificate of no marriage.  If you show up here with just divorce papers I think you will end up at your embassy in Manila to get what you need.

Here is just one site to get an idea, but plenty of them. https://britsinthephilippines.top/getting-married-philippines-british-filipina/

Questions

Have you been here to the Philippines before?

Have you met the girl in person?

Are you intending to take her to the UK?

You can't get a 13a unless you are married.  Sort that part out first.

Luckily you have a few months to do some homework before arriving here.  Almost all of the information required can be found on the relevent Embassy websites.  A word of advice about the British Embassy in the Philippines, they are pretty much set up to do trade deals and not much ssistance to the average British citizen here.  Get everything done in the UK before arrival.

Good luck on your pending marriage, hopefully your experience of visits in the Navy has given you a good insight into the possible pit falls of marriage here.  From a personal point of view unless you've lived here for a good year and been around your partner and her family I'd recommend slowing down and seeing if the Philippines is for you.  A good friend of mine got married 6 months ago with the hopes of taking his partner to the UK but is finding getting her a visa almost impossible, another has been married 5yrs and has two kids and can't get his partner to the UK either.  One has been seperated and stuck in the UK for about 1 1/2yrs now without his wife the other now looking at trying to get her to Malta to live. The UK has really clamped down.
