I'm not allowed out of the house according to the Barangay captain. Been refused entry to the mall because I'm a senior, I went to see the captain for a certificate pass (food, bank, necessities) Got refused one, she said seniors not allowed out of the house, told her that was last month and the governor has relaxed that law, but she said that another foreigner who lives on his own has been refused too. He has to pay his neighbors to shop for him, don't know how he gets his money?

I know I am super lucky to have L so willing to go out and shop for us. She refuses to let me go into the mall grocery store to shop. I drop her off and pick her up with the car. Then we go home, unload the goodies, peel off clothes and masks, shower, wash clothes, then relax finally...

She is so very busy with the preparations for school teaching, but will still take out a day to shop. It takes a long time because I make out a detailed shopping list and she is so good to follow it and buy what we need or want (if available). I want to bake some more cookies or brownies or something so she is motivated!

So is Pres T... not about people not following guidance, but because they insist on doing so? So fed up he is considering just cancelling the state of emergency regarding the virus... More Tanduay, please...

That's what I will have to do, drop her off. I will go for a beer while she shops, Oh poo can't do that, the pubs are shut I will just bake in the sun waiting for her.

No car, no air/con? I just drop her off and it takes her a few hours to complete the shop. So I go home and relax and prepare for any questions she may have regarding my special requests...

Uck... sorry to hear that. So you are too far from home to return to chill out while she shops?

I know exactly how hot a no air/con car gets in the sun... hate that...

These are the IATF guidelines (second document) and local governments are not allowed to exceed them:

I suppose food and water would come under (essential goods)

I'm about 30 minuet drive there and back, time I get home it would be time to set off again.

I'l find some where to keep cool while she shops.
