It struck me as strange at first but sitting in an air-conditioned car with the front passenger seat laid back relaxing is preferable to the alternative (and honestly the car uses very little fuel at idle). 

Yes I do a lot of this, not that I have to. Nobody young or old gets refused entry anywhere here, its more that I find it more relaxing in the car than in a supermarket, especially if my fone has data....

Seniors get refused in Robinson's Dumaguete. Unless they have a certificate stating they are good health and live alone, from the barangay captain.
