boyee Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Hi. I have a family member who lives in Manila that suffers from Anxiety and Depression. I'm looking for the best Psychologist or mental health institution money can buy. I am serious. There must be places where the wealthy go for very personalized and effective help. Thank you. Forum Support Tommy T. Posted July 9, 2020 Forum Support Posted July 9, 2020 I agree with HK... Perhaps start with St. Lukes or Asia Hospital? They are USA accredited and offer first-world class services.

I thought it was more nuanced that that... some antidepressents were illegal? Watsons have a page about them but I pressume they're prescription only (and they might require seeing a doctor that's allowed to prescribe them like only pain management specialists can prescribe certain pain killers). https://watsonshealth.com.ph/antidepressants/ Edited July 10, 2020 by GeoffH

I remember chatting with my GP (he loves to talk!) a few years ago and thought I remembered him saying that stimulants, like some diet pills, and antidepressants are illegal.

It can be a dangerous antidepressant in the wrong hands. A fellow I knew went a bit nuts using valium and booze together.

I doubt that prescribed antidepressants would be illegal. How do they deal with this as its a common problem world wide.
