We didn't have that luxury as we bought from the developer.  To be fair, we only found one such faulty joint in 9 years so fingers crossed!

In our building’s we bought a little paint brush and MADE them use it to put the solvent on the bits to be joined. A bit touchy at first, but paydays made them see it my way.

Thanks Mike, they have finished doing those jobs, I told them about the pressure being to high. So they installed a new pressure switch on the pump and Pressure tank both set to 40 psi. 

They already bought the ball float and installed but next time I will get the Auto float valve. Now to test the water.
