sonjack2847 Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 I made this the other day and I am very impressed with the recipe, tastes great. ngredients 1 kg / 2 lb lamb or beef mince (ground meat) , preferably 15% fat (Note 1) 200g / 7oz streaky bacon , roughly diced (Note 2) 1 onion , diced (brown, yellow, white) 2 clove garlic , roughly chopped 1 tbsp vegetable oil or olive oil (for frying) SEASONING SPICES: 1 tsp dried oregano 2 tsp cumin 2 tsp ground coriander 1/2 tsp cinnamon 3 tsp salt , kosher/cooking salt (Note 3) 1 tsp black pepper The meat has to be ground twice when it is very cold, roll it into a log and cook in the oven (in tin foil) for 1.5 hours at 170c open the foil up and roast for 10-15 minutes on full.
