we went to S&R Nuvali on Saturday no checkpoints manned well they were on their mobiles !!

got to S&R no forms,no queues, no Alcohol ban just temp checked. here locally i cant go to the market with my wife !

even with a Quarantine pass ! everything slowly closing down again !  if this has led to Jollibee closing stores then who next ?

SM or MCDs,etc, etc opposite me it was the guys birthday lots of his mates drinking , its one rule for one one rule for others !

Pretty much selective Alcohol ban here. We were at a local resto where they have been enforcing this ban. Saturday night arrived the biggest fattest Filipino I have ever seen....just huge, he has 6 goons with him plus friends....Came in a Lamborghini ....Treated the whole local.....beer was freely flowing.

I saw a job advert for data specialists looking to set up a contact tracing app here in the Philippines. I'm not saying it's an excuse to get tax payers money on a stupid idea, but how could anyone think that could even slightly work in the Philippines? A couple of big names are already on board.

Sims aren't registered to individuals, most Filipinos have non smart phones, dead batteries, no load,( although it could be bluetooth ) they share phones, millions of dead spots etc.

I can see a few million peso being used up and two hours work done before someone admits it's a no go.

How can a huge, fat man fit in a Lamborghini? Just asking, RBM... Those are not big cars to begin with. Did he require a crane to pull him out????

Sorry about being off topic...but you did raise the comment about fat man in sports car:whistling:.

Never saw him get in or out Tommy...perhaps a very large shoe horn....Apparently he has 6 of these among other rare cars....When I asked his line of work was told he is in construction.....go figure.

Virtually all stores where we go demand hand washing, temperature checks and then fill out contact tracing forms... It's a hassle, but I guess, if it might mitigate the spread of the virus, it might be okay...

Even if they could get over the technical issues (they won't) the next issue would be getting people to be honest with their contacts and those contacts then being willing to answer a call - it is a no goer IMO.

Here we only have to fill in forms in Fast Food restaurants and Hardware stores from what I have seen.  Is it effective - if you take a look at the forms and look at the info - it's hard to read the contact numbers and the address is usually the area only. The theory is good, the reality not so much.

Here in Davao... apparently a number of teachers attended a birthday party for a higher up official. One or more attendees were positive. No teachers were supposed to attend any parties, according to local regulations. So now the entire lot have to be tested and be quarantined. The entire school is shut down for at least another two weeks... It is this sort of stupidity and self- righteousness that fuels the spread of the virus. L and her co-teachers are furious over this stupid party attendance by others... It is prohibited by current regulations... As mentioned before... some people just don't get it!!!

Okay... so label me however you may, but that seems to me to be one of the roots of the spread of the virus...
