Gazza Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 I have to return to UK by the end of this month. I am in Legazpi. Does anyone know if I need a covid test to fly to Manila then London with Philippine Airlines ? Do I need one just to use the airport even ? Forum Support Mike J Posted October 1, 2020 Forum Support Posted October 1, 2020 Recommend you contact the airline or check their website. Probably should check with your respective embassy for the final flight.

Forum Support Mike J Posted October 1, 2020 Forum Support Posted October 1, 2020 My neighbour left for Germany a couple days ago. He needed a test to be able to fly from Cebu City but I don't know if flew direct or via Manila. Not sure what airline he used.

Hi fella, My neighbour flew a couple of weeks back from Dumaguete to Manila, then later that day flew, from Manila to USA. Both of his flights were with Philippine Airlines, NO Covid test was required to fly with that particular airline.

Jollygoodfellow Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 It will be best to check your airline as already said. Some countries require covid test but todays rules and tomorrows might be different so keeping checking right up to the day of departure.

Popular Post Gazza Posted October 20, 2020 Author Popular Post Posted October 20, 2020 I have just got back to the UK so for anyone else that needs to know. I needed barangay permission , a health certificate from the municipal which I got stating I have had a medical check up and deemed fit to travel though in reality nobody did anything, I just had to collect and pass a paper around to several people and sign the book as usual then done. Then to the police for a travel pass which is issued within 24 hours. I just gave them my Barnegay and health cert, they didn't even check my passport or id. Then to immigration for my ECC/A which cost 1,200p. All of these docs must be dated within 72 hours of travel except Barangay. I flew from Legazpi to MNL Then MNL- LHR. These docs were checked multiple times. All info I got from the mayors office before I proceeded. Thanks to everybody for helping me with their comments here. I already can't wait to wrap up some business here and to get back. I've had a hot shower and a bacon sandwich and now I'm bored with western culture again already Cheers 6
