I notice the article says they were "ordered to leave".  No mention of many have actually been deported. :whistling:

Think that is related to a recent corruption syndicate discovered within the airport Manila  BI Snowy.

Aussie guy I know a few days ago applied for a 9a visa renewal, he was just over 6 months late due to various lockdowns and restrictions in his area. He was in constant touch with the BI.

Angles BI informed him they were unable to help, he must go to Manila.  Be interesting to to know the out come, suspect a reasonably hefty fine.

My problem is my visa expires the first week of march 2021, 3 years. Can't leave and come back and I am not aware of any available extensions even due to the pandemic. Any ideas? Couldn't get married because...covid shut the embassy down for the needed paperwork.

Are you serious? This covid has been going on since about March and many changes as to what we can or can not do so how do we know what March will bring?  Anyway did you read the hundreds of topics on this as certainly something that has been in the news, forum for some time.

Lastly just be aware  that you might be due in March but in my case they would not give the last month extension and l mean a year or so ago so it's a possibility you may need to leave earlier than the 3 years but your mileage may vary.

Not meaning to be harsh but so much info just not bothered to look at to get an instant answer.  :4617:

Actually I am well aware of the situation, I simply asked if there were any ideas. Thank you for your time.
