Funny thread, I never saw the big deal about 'goal diggers' unless you marry one in which case you're a fool for marrying someone you don't really know, but that's a universal and universally known rule.

However if you're single, just find the most physically attractive girl you possibly can and do whatever you can to make her happy. If it's too much, find another.

That's not far from how I see it. I really cannot summon up the energy to be interested in the why's and wherefore's of a relationship where one half is much, much younger and more attractive than the other (not to mention poorer) - if either half don't see it for what it is then more fool them.

If it works for them, then carry on and fair play to both.
