Forum Support Mike J Posted June 25, 2021 Forum Support Posted June 25, 2021 We bought 1247 meters for 600 peso per meter in Moalboal. But that was about 13 years ago. Nice thing about land it almost always appreciates in value as long as you don't buy at the top of a bubble.
graham59 Posted June 25, 2021 Posted June 25, 2021 I bought 600 square metres, here in rural Pangasinan, at 250 pesos per squ. m, back in 2015 (roadside former agricultural land..all mains services available) . It is prone to flooding, but I just raised the level with a few truck loads of soil, and raised the levels of the floors in the house accordingly.

Curious - do you become a mini island for short times during monsoons?

We can always reach the front gate with dry feet. My floors are a metre/yard above the normal 'flood level' though.
