Heeb Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 (edited) There used to be about six or seven softball fields on SBMA. I see the remnants of some of them, there’s bleachers over by the river and some dugouts near Remy field.Sport were big, even had full contact football leagues, the base teams traveled to different bases throughout the asian theater. They held the Asean games baseball event here right before Covid and I doubt that it has been used much since. There was another member here a while back that said he played softball there. I highly recommend The Mansion hotel, especially for families. I will make a post about it. The hotel hosted many athletes during the Asean games.

I think they probably brought in some temporary bleachers for the Asean games. Maybe some extra screens for the sides too, as there would be very little to protect spectators from foul balls.
