Forum Support Popular Post Mike J Posted November 12, 2021 Forum Support Popular Post Posted November 12, 2021 (edited) Not really a recipe, more of a suggestion. For dinner I had a large rice cake topped with fresh mango and yogurt. The rice cakes and mango were purchased from neighbors. The yogurt is made by an expat who lives in the area. A delicious and healthy meal that also adds a bit to the local Moalboal economy which has been devastated by lack of tourists. The more "local" you buy, especially in the province, the more you can help others during a time of need. And it tasted great. We have noticed that more and more people are selling "stuff" of all sorts. We, or I should say my wife, often buy bits and pieces from them i.e. fruit, vegetable. meat, eggs and so on.
