I was using WorldRemit until they stopped using Poli. Then went to Remitly until they became absurd with their limits.

So now looking for another transfer company, any suggestions please folks?

thanks

Not with Westpac and St.George building society as of a few months ago, something about money laundering I heard on the grapevine.

I tried a transfer with wise the other day and got the same result. Shame because I was with worl remit for years.

Effective from 20th December 2021

Guess I got lucky with my bank then, still on the list.

It's probably a hangover from the banking royal commission a few years back when Westpac (they own St George) got fined hundreds of millions for not having and enforcing anti-money laundering protocols.

I'm with Bank of Queensland, have been for years, no issues with them and will be sticking where I am.  I think you can even open an account with them online now as well, similar to what I did with Citi a few years back.

I can use POLI with Bendigo Bank but not with ANZ or HSBC, the restriction isn't World Remit it's the banks doing it.

yes  same as me. When I log into banking after a worldremit transaction there is a notice saying something about, did you do this transaction or something

I dont do it but isn't there an option for using a debit card instead of poli?

Yep, you can use a Visa/Mastercard debit card as well as Poli.  Nothing on the BOQ site about it at all.
