Where i live    if you build a wall one hollow block high you need a building permit !

The neighbours even get the Barangay police to remove any vehicle belonging to visitors ! But their friends can park outside 24/7

And in another story this has to do with employees who were against Rama before the election. He said so himself that he will go after those who backstabbed him or were against him.

Not sure if Rama is related to Putin or not.

Technically in our place the same but plenty of folk are able to circumvent this easily.  It was much more difficult when we moved in 7 years ago as many lots were unsold but now all are sold they don't really care as much.   A few pesos to the guard may be enough to oil the wheels.
