I thought about this after posting but did not have a chance to reply. My old age and memory must be getting to me as now I remember it was terminal tax I paid back when you had to pay at the airport. So you are correct and not travel tax although I read somewhere its stay of less than a year you dont pay and not six months but who knows.

Nope, just did not happen despite of everything planned out well but thats another topic. The one regret is leaving Kuala Lumpur and comming back to this backward dirty country.
