TCL Smart TVs = Opinions?

So we bought a Devant 50" with free soundbar today.  So far no issues setting it up and the soundbar actually puts out some nice audio compared to the built-in speakers of most TV's.. With the exception of Sony built-in speakers, but they're sort of known for it, it's their thing.  It came in at just shy of 20k PHP.

Sure, sure Don.....I suppose you're gonna promote certain TV apps by selling subscriptions.  Don't worry about me, I already have a platinum membership to PornHub.

They both agree: LG Samsung Sony for premium, Hisense and TCL for cheap China.

Still very pleased with our Devant 65" been binge watching "Better Call Saul" for the past few nights, also the cooking channels (Master chef, etc), Discovery and History channesl.  I have started doing research to add a sound bar.  Sound is OK and much better than out old TV but I am sure a sound bar would be a good addition.

Did you manage to get the ISDB-T functions working?  I suspect we may outside the reception area.

I hope you watched Breaking Bad before Better Call Saul, it puts a lot into context

Have not yet tried the ISDB.  Yes, watched all the Breaking Bad a few year back.  Another powerful series was "Sons of Anarchy".  Better have a strong stomach for that one.
