JJReyes Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 In the NFL, the word "retirement" is a press release to garner attention. We have to wait two years for a football player to become a fat slob from drinking beer and no exercise to make "retired" official.
Forum Support Mike J Posted February 1, 2023 Forum Support Posted February 1, 2023 I can't help but think he should have retired last year. End of a marriage is a high price to pay for an additional "not so great" year of football. There were probably other issues in the marriage but the wife was fairly outspoken in her desire to have him home as husband and father.
Ziggy Posted February 2, 2023 Author Posted February 2, 2023 Tom Brady's 'retirement' reminds me of the Bernie Mac movie (Mr. 3000) who retired but unforeseen issues took him out of retirement and back into the game.
