OnMyWay Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 I have been using Chrome for years, with Duck Duck Go. Got the new computer and decided to try Edge for a while. Not really liking the feel of it. What is your favorite browser and why? I would like to increase my privacy. Tired of Google knowing everything I do. Guy F. Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 (edited) Firefox browser by Mozilla is my choice. Very dependable with privacy features built in. The Private Browsing option is most convenient. The password manager is great. I've been using Firefox since it was Netscape for private browsing. I find myself using Chrome a bit though if I have a lot of other programs open as Firefox tends to be a memory hog for some reason and most web pages are optimised for Chrome so Firefox can have some issues on some pages. Firefox's is maintained by the non-profit Mozilla so isn't as incentivised to target ads. Edge - updated IE, isn't even in the running - I wouldn't touch it. Good article here with regards to Chrome vs Firefox: Firefox vs Chrome Edited February 21, 2023 by BrettGC

Good article here with regards to Chrome vs Firefox: Firefox vs Chrome Yeah, Edge is not pleasing me. Trying Firefox and it has a look and feel close to Chrome, which I am used to.
