I have been using Chrome for years, with Duck Duck Go.  Got the new computer and decided to try Edge for a while.  Not really liking the feel of it.

What is your favorite browser and why?  I would like to increase my privacy.  Tired of Google knowing everything I do.

Firefox browser by Mozilla is my choice. Very dependable with privacy features built in. The Private Browsing option is most convenient. The password manager is great. Read more at

I was going to suggest the same.  I've been using Firefox since it was Netscape for private browsing.  I find myself using Chrome a bit though if I have a lot of other programs open as Firefox tends to be a memory hog for some reason and most web pages are optimised for Chrome so Firefox can have some issues on some pages.  Firefox's is maintained by the non-profit Mozilla so isn't as incentivised to target ads.  Edge - updated IE, isn't even in the running - I wouldn't touch it.

Yeah, Edge is not pleasing me.  Trying Firefox and it has a look and feel close to Chrome, which I am used to.
