I think we got one from the city hall and a lawyer there signed it but not sure if it's something to think about since your married.

I heard the same thing. I know when she went in November 22 they were running thru them in a hurry. Many are turned down in short order. There are certain things that trigger a rejection they look for. They have heard all the stories. If you have a life in the Philippines, married to a US citizen and you both live here long term the chances of getting a visitor visa is good. Recently married? Not much chance as they'll ask why you don't get a K or other immigrant visa. Raises all manner of red flags. About 20 years ago I did political asylum interviews at sea in the Caribbean for a period of time. It was like I was listening to a recording, everyone had the same story with little variation. 99% were safely escorted back home.
Northern Lights Posted May 9 Posted May 9 I’m interested in hearing anyone else’s experiences with Filipino wives coming to US as visitors. Ive been separated physically from my wife since everything got displaced over recent years. I have not returned since 2020. Im traveling to spend time there next month. We are aiming to set up interview in July to see if we can travel back to US for a bit. Depending on approval, Id stay there longer/shorter period based on that. We’ve been married for 6 1/2 years now. Stay connected daily online. Thanks for any info. Appreciated.

The embassy is going to proceed on the assumption of immigrant intent. It probably would be best to apply for a spousal visa. Stop by Visajourney.com if you have questions. It is a forum like this but for immigration questions. Good luck...
