Yes also memories of the dummy being dunked into the sherry while sitting in the pub , or dunked into anything as long as it keeps the baby quite

I was at the gym the other day, and needless to say, most people wearing earbuds. I asked a guy if the machine was free? No response so I started using it. When I used it for two sets he said to me, sorry but I were using that. I told him that I asked him before I started! I didn't hear because I use earbuds was his reply. My reply was that's your problem, isn't it, not mine, and then I did my third set 👍

Similar in my gym, from what I see pretty much all have that ear bud, guess it connects to a cell fone, they look annoyed if one trys to speak to them.

Not a thing we did but I do remember a dummy being dipped in whisky to get a baby to sleep or whisky being rubbed on a baby's gums for teething troubles.

Some of them say they are using earbuds because they don't have time to talk to people when they do their training. I would accept that, IF they didn't spend 5 minutes on their phones between the sets! Like in my example, that guy didn't even notice me until I was about to start my third set!
