Forum Support Mike J Posted October 28, 2023 Forum Support Posted October 28, 2023 (edited) Typhoon track map. Cat 4 & 5 for 2013 to 2016. A bit dated but still appears to represent the path of typhoons. The further north you move, the more likely to be hit with a typhoon. Luzon is almost always hit the hardest every year. Visayas not so much and depending on which island you may get some protection from outlying islands. Mindanao seldom but does get hit occasionally. PinoyDani Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 I haven’t been to Iloilo, so I cannot provide information on that part. I stayed 4 months in Cebu City, and it experiences flooding even with a little rain in my daily commute between Talamban and IT Park. I have been to Davao 3 times, and it was always sunny when I visited. However, there are a lot of strong earthquakes in that part of the country for the past couple of years, so I wouldn’t recommend staying long-term in a high-rise condominium in Davao.
