Gcash verification

I never could get the upload and verification on my iphone to work but it went through on my wife's non-iphone.

I gave up trying to communicate with these clowns. The Mrs has hers if in (desperate) need.

Based on online comments, and you guys', it seems that it's way more difficult than it should be - hardly a surprise.

I tried with my wife's phone last night - let's see how that goes.

Update as I know you guys haven't been able to sleep worrying  

My wife was verified within a day  

I have no idea if I have been or not as I cannot log in now for some reason.

I tried yesterday, all went fine, took the selfie and suddenly a message saying Gcash is experiencing some issues, try again later. 

Just to add, l had so much trouble getting my birthdate in on that stupid system. 

And I dont know if my tourist ARC card will be accepted anyway. 

EDIT. Now l cant login either

With all the Gcash issues I would be reluctant to trust them with any cash/funds.

I have given up as my wife has it now anyway.

I believe the system is probably using AI to verify data against ID - my ACR shows nationality UK but the options on the GCash menu doesn't include UK, only British so I assume AI is rejecting it for that reason. Just a guess.

Great system when you can actually get verified!

Same here - no way I'm linking it to my bank account nor will I load a large amount of money onto it - we'll only use it for 100php or so transactions.

That said, I loaded it yesterday via machine and it was instantly updated - I also used it to do a test load on Globe phone and it was also instantly updated.

From what I gather there is not much a un verified account holder can do.

Even the usual delete account and start all over again option is not available as you need to submit verification details as part of the delete account process.
