Georgebob Posted June 2 Posted June 2 (edited) I didn't know where to post this so Mods please feel free to move I live in Australia with my current Filipino defacto/GF of 4 years This morning I'm doing the budget and I have been away to Philippines the last few weeks,she stayed in Australia because of work I found out and she admitted she had sent her family $1000 about 30,000 pesos Now she had done this a few months before as well,she agreed not send them so much or a limit on giving.. Her family are bludgers ,I met them ,won't work etc ,her mother comes up with all sorts of excuses ,from motorbike accidents to uncle Joe has cancer I need to find a plan ,I'm thinking ok she can send money but there has to be limit and budget Anyway I got into a massive argument this morning I'm not saying don't send any money This has me concerned because we also have bills to pay ,ok it's her money she is earning it but we also electric bills etc to pay here It has me fuming ,I'm still angry right now , I told her the family are bludgers , here she is working as housework in a hotel working hard and sending money to these It doesn't seem to sink in The electric bill is due tommrrw,her payday is Wednesday If it wasn't for me she would have no idea on how to manage money or do budgeting, unfortunately I have been away the last few weeks overseas from Australia so couldn't manage her finances Edited June 2 by Georgebob 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
