Nevermets tv series

Just watching a tv series here in the Uk called Nevermets , is about folk living in different parts of the world talking on the internet for a long time then meeting one another for a week and to see if they get on sort of thing .

Anyway there is this 30 year old man lives at home with his parents , works but has no life he’s talking to a Filipina for years and they meet up in the Philippine's, a place named Sipalay , she is in her late twenties , looks like she had worked abroad and now lives at home that she had built  with her parents and siblings , her 2 younger siblings has children but she has not as it seems she had to work to provide for them and her not very well parents , anyway as it’s a tv series you have to take the good and bad bits and make your own mind up.

They meet they are in love and life could be good for them , he’s brought her a engagement ring, he  proposed to her and she was so happy ,but the parents faces was like thunder, as the tv presenter explained why they looked like that it was he did not ask her father for permission to marry his daughter, but by the end of that first episode he sat down with the father to ask his permission to marry his daughter , can’t wait for the next episode, I think there’s heartache as the first visa has been turned down but who’s knows what may happen , it did bring a tear to my eye and even Ems was taken aback by this girls path to hopefully a happy future
