You lost me?   I sleep fine at night

My sister inlaw bought a property and soon after, someone built a trike fabrication workshop in their front yard just opposite her house. Most of the work was carried out at night with metal work, hammering, grinding etc going on at all hours.

There are Laws about this and a trip to the Barangay will help to keep noise times to acceptable  levels :tiphat:

Most Barangays (including ours) have a 'quiet time' between 10pm and 7am.   Wish someone would tell the damned roosters

I have gotten use to the roosters and hardly hear them anymore, except 5:30 to 6:00 which is my normal wakeup time.  I have grown to like those organic alarm clocks.

Iv got use to them too, they're surrounding my property with a rooster farm 20 ft from my house, I wake up at 5 am and only then I can hear those roosters.

It's my own dogs that bother me, barking at other dogs even during the day, oh and disco noise mostly at weekends. :morning1:

A metal fabrication workshop (which also worked mainly in the evenings) started up behind our previous house, it lasted all of 2 weeks before complaints from neighbours to the baranguay shut them down.

We didn't have to get involved at all (which is my preference for these sorts of issues).

If only all/several neighbours would get together and make a collective complaint (to the Barangay) these issued would not get out of hand and become personal. Unfortunately,  it's often the case here folks are unwilling to complain and leave it to someone else  - often the foreigner if there is one.

Our Home Owner Association won’t allow, rosters, Jeep’s, noisey motorbikes, and general noise after 10 pm. Most of the newer subdivision have the same rules.

Sounds like heaven.
