 On checking things out I too googled this issue and found, Knees and a very good  indication of age especially from females from 10 to puberty, Just a thought

If someone just happened upon the last half of this subject discussion they'd possibly think the police were trying to determine the age of a stolen herd of carabaos or horses. Teeth and knees to determine age? They are alive and don't have IDs? Rumor has it they have to show a proper ID before being admitted to a condo or hotel.

Maybe they are an 'indication' ...but hardly enough to tell somebody's date of birth by, eh.

Pretty easy to get a fake ID, but most will just use a family members ID.
