And that is one of the big reasons why we are back in the philippines. So our daughter can start first grade here in a good private school.

We lived in a small midwest city defined by its large state university. A blue dot in a red sea which last year celebrated electing a purple haired woke mayor. The mayor organized drag queen events paid by the city for local public school kids to go on field trips to see. City was going full woke. So we voted with our feet. Sold the house and moved back to the philippines.

I have enjoyed barangay bakla talent shows and attended pride fests in the US. Just don't think politicians and public schools should use government to shove things down your throat like the woke crowd does.
