BrettGC Posted August 23 Posted August 23 (edited) We bought our car new at the end of March 2022, we finally received our plates at the end of July 2024. Given some of the other examples of people buying new cars here in PI, I'm not sure who dropped the ball in our case; LTO or Toyota Dumaguete. Maybe a perfect storm of both? Edit: Just to clarify, Toyota Dumaguete have been nothing less than brilliant to deal with, highly recommended. I suspect more an LTO issue in line with the highly publicised issues with metal and plastic things. Edited August 23 by BrettGC

MikeyD Posted August 23 Posted August 23 We bought a Mitsubishi in Cebu City in August of 2023 and received the plates last month in July of 2024, my wife got the sales agent involved and he helped get the plates from the LTO, otherwise I think we would still be waiting.

And I bet that, as always, there was budget allocated for them so there should be a nice surplus, right?

I have wondered if the supply gets sent to the cities first, and they are "out of stock" by the time they should be sent to the offices serving the province areas? 1
