Could not be worse than when the Asawa cooks dried fish. I go into another room and close the door. 1

But what was so funny (I made the Asawa watch it) was that during his vows he stood up and said. "I will love you even when you cook those stinky fish!" (BTW as an aside, my Asawa did not appreciate my sense of humor)

Same thing with durian - she goes out to the back of the yard to prepare and eat that.

Dried fish (and accompanying flies !) are totally banned from the house. She usually goes up the road to a friend's house to cook and consume such stinking stuff now.
GeoffH Posted August 28 Posted August 28 (edited) I think I've been here too long 😅 I actually enjoy dried fish (the bigger type), fried crunchy intestine tastes nice and whilst Durian isn't my favourite fruit it's not too bad. Still can't eat Balut though! Edited August 29 by GeoffH 1
