I just did mine and not counting medical, I went to two windows, both for literally seconds.. Given you are posting this, my guess is 5 windows
earthdome Posted August 29 Author Posted August 29 It is a very large compound with parking. I drove a long winding route through the compound. No parking. Ended up back at the exit. So I drove to a mall, parked there, and took a grab back to lto. This is the third lto office I visited. Did the CDE exam online. Passed first time. Today I had to take again. This time 60 questions with facial recognition on all the time. When your face is not recognized the exam stops and has to restart, but from where you left off. Had to take my glasses off for facial recognition but then it is hard to read questions. Still passed first time 52 out of 60. Been here since 10am. hk blues Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I wasn't renewing but effectively starting from scratch. It took about 2.5 from start to finish, including medical, theory and practical (LOL). I was pleasantly surprised.
earthdome Posted August 29 Author Posted August 29 I don't think I have to do practical. Waiting to pay then wait for dl. I did medical last week at the second lto office I visited.

BrettGC Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Based on my experience with a simple conversion (4 trips to the counter, not counting medical etc), for your case with the paper licence, I'd say 8 times you'll have to interact with LTO staff - door guy (not security) checking paperwork, person you actually have to show the paperwork, you'll have to pay at least twice (I can't remember the exact reasoning for not paying the entire amount at once), photo and finger prints, then actually collecting your final receipt/licence. All that is the norm so add to that your little complication I'm sure you'll be showing your paperwork a little more often to various people. That's how I arrived at 8. Where do you get your license?
