Ingco Tools, Ingco Stores, and Lazada 9-9 Sale

The Philippine fad now is to have these monthly "calendar day" sales.  7-7, 8-8, etc.  On Lazada, the 9-9 sale starts at 8 pm tonight and lasts until 9-13, I think.  Yes, a gimmick, but you can find better deals than usual, and sometimes cheaper shipping.

I have ranted before about trying NOT to buy Chinese products, but sometimes you have no choice here in PH.  I have been buying some Ingco tools, and some friends, and contractors I used, have them too.  They seem to have good quality and are built well.

The Ingco Official store on Lazada is legit, but as @Mike J correctly pointed out last time I brought it up, they sometimes have a misleading way of showing the pricing.  Just be aware of it, especially during sales.  For instance, you might be interested in a drill for p2000, but in the same listing they might have options for accessory A for p400 and accessory B for p500.  When browsing drills in the official store or on Lazada in general, it shows the lowest price of the 3, p400.  So you think you are going to get a drill for p400.  You have to enter the listing, click on the proper icon picture thing of what you want, and it will show the correct price.

Actually my reason for posting now is not because of online sales, but the Ingco stores.  There are a lot of Ingco franchises now.  The main one I go to in Olongapo is very well stocked and well run.  Their prices on small stuff like drill bits, sandpaper, small tools, are very competitive so sometimes I buy those type of things there, if convenient.  I found out today that this franchisee also runs the Ingco stores in Subic town and Iba.

So, this franchisee (I don't know about the others) has the 9-9 sale too, and the prices match the online prices, but with no shipping fees!  The bottom line for me is that I can browse online then go into the store and get the same price.  Of course, they don't always have stock on everything you might want and see online, but most of the regular power tools are very well stocked.  Today, the main Olongapo store did not have the big item I wanted, but they have it at their Subic branch, and will bring it over tomorrow morning, and give me the 9-9 online sale price.

Bottom line is, very good service from the local Ingco franchisee.  Hope you can find the same.  Also, the Olongapo branch is an authorized Ingco service facility, with a good sized service area and fairly good sized warehouse area in the rear.
