As a kid I would listen to them on a college radio station using a radio I built from parts late at night in my room. For a middle school kid from a small farm town that was exciting.

But what about having a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant, cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks, and run on regular gas.

Snowy79 Posted October 31 Posted October 31 As an ex vice president of a parent teachers association in a private school I pretty much gave up on them. The had a 100% policy on English speaking in the play ground that was never enforced and the teachers including the Head teacher spoke pigeon English and couldn't construct a complete sentence. I would cringe at the opening presentation at parents days. I went along the lines of: Thank you for coming and the dancers , yes they welcome you, excellent work by the children and the aircons will be installed soon. Well done to our senior students and if you wish to stay longer yes the curriculum will be and if you have any questions.
Possum Posted October 31 Posted October 31 I am happy to report the Montessori school our daughters are attending now is all English all the time except for Filipino studies. Also tests are written, no multiple choice and if a word is misspelled on a test the answer is considered wrong. Thus far they haven't done any dancing .
