This pretty much puts the cherry on the "the Philippines is 1st World" cake for me.  This is a cleaner operation than the District of Columbia has!!!!

Did you notice the motorhome and rowboat?  I think the owners rent the space.  Sometimes they have unusual large vehicles parked out front, for sale.  Old hum-vees, etc.

We just bought two new cars in the past year. Toyota and Suziki - each one had two year LTO registrations as part of the deal. However, insurance is still annual...

Ours was 3 years on a new car, a Toyota, pretty standard here I thought.

 For Members Information;

How long is the validity of car registration in the Philippines?

Your initial LTO car registration is valid only for three years. Once it expires, you need to renew on schedule to avoid a weekly fine of ₱200. For a month's delay in payment, the fine will be 50% of the Motor Vehicle User's Charge (MVUC).
