OnMyWay Posted Saturday at 01:02 AM Posted Saturday at 01:02 AM These flash floods were devastating! I think we have members who have spent time in that area of Spain?
stevewool Posted Saturday at 07:32 AM Posted Saturday at 07:32 AM Terrible situation there , we are planning our trip still as this major area is around 4 hours drive away from where will be, but a few other places have seen destruction but not on that scale , the clean up operation has started with lots of local people coming together to help , we have been warned that if you are driving and you break down there will be no tow trucks to help as everyone has gone to this area to clear the streets
JJReyes Posted Sunday at 08:34 AM Posted Sunday at 08:34 AM Wonderful place to visit especially during the Feria when a large segment of the population dress in traditional clothes. The heavy shoes look very uncomfortable, but the tapping noise they make adds rhythm to the dance. Best paella which you can get even in supermarkets. They sell it by weight. During our last visit, I wanted to see the bullfight. Unfortunately, the cheapest seats at Euro 110 each were sold out. I refuse to pay Euro 250 for a good one. Hopefully the area will recover quickly from the devastation.
