Thanks Guy(s),In fairness, I asked for a cheap shipper and it is often the case that the cheaper companies are local, rather than nationwide, companies whereas they don't spend mega amounts on nationwide transport nor advertising etc.At this stage I'm just trying to establish prices, what do I sell on ebay and what do I take with me.Thanks again and I shall be in contact in due course if need be.

Thanks again guys,Belwood UK cover all of mainland UK and about the online merchant, of those 4 links, that have an online price to cover all of mainland UK, I'd already been looking and, generally, all seem to charge similar prices of circa GBP9.00 to GBP10.00 per cubic foot to Manila and the easier/cheaper PH locations.With Belwood, were I sending 20.5 cubic feet from my home to Mindanao then their price would be GBP302.50.However I have found http://www.basketpinoy.com/balikbayan_box/ who, I think, are based in Luton and serve the surrounding areas to Luton. Providing their 2009 offers are the same for 2010, send 2 large and get 1 small for free, then from Luton etc. to Mindanao for 20.5 cubic feet their price would be GBP200.00 and, let us say, I were sending 61.5 cubic feet then this would represent a saving of

Thanks John,Infact I have just emailed 'basketpinoy' to ask all relevant questions, if their 2009 promotional offers are still valid then they are certainly good prices.If they are flatpack boxes that would be great, I'll be shipping some hard goods, PC equipment, DVD, some kitchen stuff etc. aswell as clothing etc. so I'll use the clothing etc. to cushion/protect the hard goods from damage during transit however I'll remember your black gash bag tip, thanks.
