Mr Lee Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 This should make Boss Man happy.MANILA, Philippines - The recent acquisition by Philippine Airlines (PAL) of two brand-new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft has paved the way for the resumption of service to two international destinations - Brisbane, Australia and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - later this month.http://www.philstar.com/Article.aspx?articleId=558319&publicationSubCategoryId=
Markham Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Hmmm.... it's a pity they don't restore their Manila-London route which is well within the capabilities of that aircraft and is the same model type KLM use for their Amsterdam-Manila non-stop service. I would have thought the 777 to be overkill for the Riyadh route as, for example, Qatar Airways use the smaller Airbus A320 between Doha and Manila/Cebu.Mark
