Inspector Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Watching Zombieland last night, and I put on the English subtitles for the GF so she can keep up with the gore. Anyway, after half the movie it began becoming more of a comedy then it intended as the guy writing the subtitles must of been a clone of me, and decided to write whatever he wanted to the words being spoken. It was hilarious...half in Spanish, and completely different then the action and what was being said. In one part, instead of of writing a conversation between the actors, feeling tired...he writes, "unimportant conversation"...I nearly spit out my iced tea on the bed from laughing. We spent the rest of the movie giggling at the words he was writing, however...I missed the movie's dialog. Anyway, this was bought at the Robinson's in Minglanilla, store in the strip mall...Now wondering where GOOD bootlegs can be had. I should of known this was going to be a poor quality as it cost 50 pesos. At the circle they sell viagra, puppies and maps...wonder if those movies are any good, and if so...can I stand another day of annoying third world beggars. Mik Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 It's hit and miss with the quality of pirated movies. Even if you test the movie before buying, it can still have unplayable portions elsewhere on the disk. Instead of buying pirated disks, I buy my movies at the mall. Just avoid the new releases. I wait until the price drops before buying. For P299 you can get a good movie..
Art2ro Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Me personally, I just download any movie I want to watch from the internet torrent websites available. I used buy a lot of DVD and VCD movies at the malls, but it got expensive and I don't have anymore storage space for my 400 movie collection I bought over the years when DSL wasn't yet available in our area! Now that I have DSL and a new computer, I download tons of movies from the internet!

I seen a Sony in the mall with his computer on the TV, so I am guessing this can be done. I have a decent sized computer, but shipped a 32 inch here that is wanting to see some blu ray hi def flicks....at a cheap price.Don't laugh, I am technology challenged...or simply a dumbass when it comes to computers and the like. :(I don't even mind paying for rentals from itunes ... just rather watch them on my TV where it is more comfy to watch. :thumbs-up-smile:

Blu-Ray are slowly coming out on the movie torrents sites for downloading or watch the Blu-ray movie disk on your big screen TV. I'm truly impressed with the quality resolution of the Blu-ray format. Inspector Posted April 24, 2010 Author Posted April 24, 2010 Thanks! I'm going to get this computer hooked up to the TV and give it a test drive. :thumbs-up-smile:
Art2ro Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 (edited) Thanks! I'm going to get this computer hooked up to the TV and give it a test drive. Once you get your PC hooked up to your TV, try downloading some torrent movies from:http://www.kickasstorrents.com/movies/ They have a large selection to choose from. Use the uTorrent free software; http://www.utorrent.com/ to download your movies selected from the torrent website. Your Windows Media Player should work to play them. If not, download the VLC Player here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc/ It will practically play anything you download and has a lot of control features! My daughter downloads movies from the internet and saves them into her IPod. I get to watch them sometimes, I just don't know how she does it. I will ask her which site she gets them from.
